Dr. Davina Jones
Dr. Jones is an academic, community and faith-based leader. She is the former Provost of Pasco-Hernando State College Porter Campus in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Dr. Jones serves on several community boards, including the Board of Directors for North Tampa Bay Chamber, Advent Health Hospital Wesley Chapel, Impact CSC, Today’s Church, and Church of The Everlasting Kingdom (COTEK). Dr. Jones is a 30yr veteran professor in Communication Studies and the former Program Director for the Master of Arts in Media & Communications at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Jones uses the study of communication as a lens of social critique to inspire individuals about our communion with good that transcends isms, personal trauma and injustice. Dr. Davina Jones is also the Assistant Spiritual Leader of Today’s Church, the Five-fold General & Bishop for COTEK, and the founder of GREAT Camp for youth. Dr. Jones is a proud graduate of both Bethune-Cookman University and Bowling Green State University, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Jones is a native of Tampa, FL, and is a proud second mommy to her great niece, and a dedicated Auntie to her many other nieces and nephews.
